From the Principal: Difference Makers!
Dear Kuna Middle School Families,

I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their hard work. Our wonderful teachers are always giving their best to help students learn and grow. We appreciate everything they do to make our school a great place!

Parents, thank you as well! Your support helps your students do their best, and we’re incredibly grateful for your trust and involvement.

And of course, to our amazing students—you inspire us every day! Keep working hard and showing your excitement for learning. You make Kuna Middle School a special place to be.

Now, I have a small request for each of you: Let’s keep this positive momentum going!
  • Teachers: Share one success story with a colleague this week.
  • Parents: Take a moment to ask your child about something they enjoyed learning this week.
  • Students: Try your best to show kindness to someone new here at school.
By doing these small things, we can make our community even stronger!

Partners in Learning,

Shelly Manuel

CAST Leadership Skills
Skill of the Month: Creativity and Problem Solving
Leadership can sometimes be tricky. Often we are given a task to complete with limited resources or time constraints. This week we practiced teamwork and resourcefulness through the balloon challenge. We discovered good ideas are often dismissed in the stress of problem solving and that getting everyone to collaborate effectively is hard. They did a great job and celebrated well when they finally achieved their goal.

Feed it Forward
Food Insecurity is on the rise at Kuna Middle School
Feed it Forward is a program hosted by KMS PTO for KMS students.
It allows anyone to donate in order to cover needed school lunch funds.
Students are not allowed to charge meals.
Insufficient funds= no lunch
Short $.50 =no lunch

But, Feed it Forward can cover a student that day, so they can have a
hot lunch.
KMS PTO donated $500 in March to the program, that money was well spent covering student lunches.
They have donated another $500, but it will likely be gone in six weeks or less.
Please consider donating.

How to donate:
Scan the QR code, Specify Feed it Forward on your donation
If you would like a receipt, please reach out to the KMS PTO and they will provide one.
KMS PTO is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization
Thank you for supporting KMS and it's students
