Today is Thursday, September 24, 2026. It is a B day.

Lunch/Almuerzo: 

• Mini corndogs, baked beans, fresh cucumbers, and fruit choice.

Sports/Deportes:

• Great game last night for the 8th grade football team. It was a 25 to 19 loss, but a shout out to Tucker, Jesse and Nathan for touchdowns in the game. Also 2 defensive picks by Adain and Tucker. EJ also dominated the defensive line with an impressive sack.
• In a hard-fought battle last night, the 8A Lady Kavemen came up short against South, but showed incredible heart and hustle from start to finish.
  • Mylie had 4 aces, Ava had 2 aces, Camilla had 2 kills, Anani had 4 aces, Braylen had a kill Jocelyn had 2 aces and Lydia had a kill
• 8^th grade B team  won their game last night against South! They fought each set coming out on top!  & 15 aces were recorded last night. Way to go Last Kavemen! 
• Another amazing win for the 7A volleyball team! 

• Set 1: Frenchy kicked off with 10 straight serves, backed by great digs from Addy.
• Set 2: The girls regrouped and brought their A-game.
• Set 3: Sealed the victory with a smart tip from Kenzie and phenomenal defense from Melanie!
  • Keep it up!

• 7th Grade B Volleyball is keeping their winning streak with another win against South Middle. We had great net coverage by Delilah and Miley, and a 12 serve run by Lexie in the second set winning 25 to 5. Way to go lady Kavemen! Come support 7th Grade Volleyball against Syringa at home today!  

Reminders/Recordatorios:

• This week is homecoming week! Make sure you show your school spirit tomorrow and sparkle like Dolly Parton. Tomorrow is also the last day to donate books to the book drive.
• Remember, Facts and Snacks is today! If you signed up, make sure to head down to the library during lunch!
• If you want to attend tomorrow's high school Homecoming Game, listen up!! Admission is FREE with an ASB card or $8 without one. If you bought an ASB card but don't have a sticker on your ID, see Mrs. Kropp before the game. Need one? Buy it for $21 on ParentSquare!

Today is Friday, September 25, 2026. It is DOLLY DAY!

Lunch/Almuerzo: 

• Chicken drumsticks, mashed potatoes, fresh celery, honey wheat roll, and fruit choice

Sports/Deportes:

• Hold on to your sequins, Kavemen! Your KMS cross country team was on fire yesterday. Big congrats to all of you for a wonderful season. Our big time racers last night were Spencer Woolley, Morgan Zeitler, Emma Zeitler, David Romero, Kenley Willis, Kolson Barber, Rae Kyser, Josiah Ramirez, Easton Byard, Addy Golightly. Great running from all athletes! We are headed into districts next week, so wish us luck!
• Another Win in the books for 7A volleyball girls! The girls played tough defense, stayed aggressive on transition, and chased down some really difficult balls. Huge shoutout to Kenzie for owning the net! Her quick reads and high-pressure saves tight on the line kept several key points alive right when it counted most. Laynie and Addison were powerhouse servers, consistently keeping the defense off-balance with sharp, aggressive serves.  Kenzie delivered the ultimate winning serve to seal the match! Coach Brown is proud of the hard work and  heart on the court. 
• 7th grade B team fought a hard battle last night against Syringa, ultimately loosing in the third set. We had great net coverage by Delilah, and great digs by Rosannie and Marina! Good job girls!  
• In last night's win against Syringa your 8A lady Kavemen showed total domination. Highlights include Jocelyn serving up 4 aces, Elise serving up 7 aces, Lydia serving up 3 aces, Ava serving up 3 aces and a kill, Bebe serving up 3 aces, and Mylie serving up a total of 13 aces and 5 kills. All the ladies brought their A game to bring home the win!

Sports/Deportes:

• Good luck to our Lady Kavemen tonight as they play against Lone Star. Come out and cheer on our 7th graders at home! 

Reminders/Recordatorios:

• You are not allowed to be dropped off in the front parking lot in the mornings. Please have your parents drop you off in the correct drop-off lanes at the side of the school.
• There is no school this Friday, October 2. Enjoy your three-day weekend!
