From the Principal: The Future Starts Here
Hello KMS Families,

This week, our 8th grade students visited Kuna high school and Swan Falls High school to get a good look at the great skill building programs KSD offers to build skills for future success. Our vision is to help ensure students are ready for new challenges.

At Kuna Middle School, our students each participate in our Career Exploration class which shows students different careers. Our AVID classes build problem-solving skills and digital literacy for tech skills. These programs help students find interests and build a strong base. We seek to give students these real-world experiences so that together, we can help students reach their dreams.

We're building a school where every student can succeed. Thank you for being a part of our journey! Support career readiness programs by visiting kunaschools.org to learn more about career preparation programs and how you can help, because investing in students is investing in our community.

Shelly Manuel

D3 Music Festival
We want to share how incredible the band, choir and orchestra kids were on Saturday at the District III Solo and Ensemble Festival. They represented KMS so well. Wonderful performances and they behaved beautifully! They were energetic, listened to the adjudicators and really enjoyed themselves.

One of the judges complimented our program and said what great work is happening here at KMS.

There were 31 band and choir entries and 15 orchestra entries.

46 of the 206 total entries were from Kuna Middle School! 22% of the kids were Kavemen! So proud of all these kids!

Feed it Forward
Food Insecurity is on the rise at Kuna Middle School
Feed it Forward is a program hosted by KMS PTO for KMS students.
It allows anyone to donate in order to cover needed school lunch funds.
Students are not allowed to charge meals.
Insufficient funds= no lunch
Short $.50 =no lunch

But, Feed it Forward can cover a student that day, so they can have a
hot lunch.
KMS PTO donated $500 in March to the program, that money was well spent covering student lunches.
They have donated another $500, but it will likely be gone in six weeks or less.
Please consider donating.

How to donate:
Scan the QR code, Specify Feed it Forward on your donation
If you would like a receipt, please reach out to the KMS PTO and they will provide one.
KMS PTO is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization
Thank you for supporting KMS and it's students
