August 14, 2026
Welcome back, students & parents! The first two days of middle school have been absolutely incredible. The hallway energy is electric as students reconnect with friends and excitedly meet their new teachers.

While students are still figuring out their new schedules our primary focus has been building a strong, welcoming community. It is very rewarding to watch students help one another find their classes and see them establishing new friendships. Teachers are also creating a supportive environment where every student they want every student to feel valued and connected.

Thank you for preparing them so wonderfully for the year ahead. We are thrilled to have them back and can’t wait to see all they accomplish this year!

iReady Inform Assessments

Next week, our middle schoolers will be taking the i-Ready Inform assessment (formerly known as the i-Ready Diagnostic). Testing will take place during their regular classes on the following schedule:
  • Math: Monday 8/17 & Tuesday 8/18
  • Reading: Thursday 8/20 & Friday 8/21

Why is this assessment important?
The i-Ready Inform is a valuable tool that helps us meet your student right where they are:
  • For Teachers: It provides detailed insights to help teachers tailor daily instruction, offer extra support, and identify students who may benefit from specialized intervention courses.
  • For Students: It creates a customized, Personalized Instruction path in math and identifies specific learning gaps so teachers can ensure students are fully prepared for grade-level content.

How You Can Help Your Student Succeed?
To ensure we get an accurate picture of what your child knows and what they need, please encourage them to do their best and give an honest effort.
Quick tips for test days:
  1. Get a good night's sleep before testing days.
  2. Eat a healthy breakfast.
  3. Bring fully charged devices and headphones to school.
Thank you for your partnership in supporting your child’s learning and growth! We have included the iReady website for parent information below.
